Who we are
Genome-Based Diagnostics is an independent molecular diagnostics laboratory based in Carlsbad, California, directed by a doctorally-trained molecular scientist. We're not a satellite location of a national reference lab — we're a local, independent operation, and we've kept it that size deliberately.
Why we stay small
A small lab means the people planning your plate, running your assay, and answering the phone are the same people — not separate departments passing your sample along a chain. That's a harder way to scale, but it's the version of this business we set out to build.
Who we serve
We work with referring providers across North County San Diego — independent midwifery and OB/GYN practices, medical groups, and clinics looking for a molecular testing partner they can reach directly.
